Anyone going hunting?

I am headed down to Oakridge in a few weeks and am wondering if anyone lives down there or has seen any animals in that area?

I suggest that when you get to Oakridge, get on hwy58 east and come over the mountain toward bend ore and you should have a deer by then, if you are road hunting.

You cant go to tillamook theres some nice elk hunting there. I got a cow elk tag and scored a nice 600 + cow there

I'm waiting for the second archery season and some snow. We haven't had descent snow during the second archery season in two years.

Take it that you hunted this past weekend. Any animals?

I hunt the first archery season out in Desolation. Lots of bulls this year but couldn't seal the deal on the few that we called in. Never drew the bow this year. Good luck.

Ive been doing my hunting close to home in Hood River. Only went for elk and upland game birds this year. No dice on the elk but got a few birds.
