I've tried a variety of local pizza shops, and I'm still searching for some decent pizza. Stark Street, Flying Pie, American Dream, Hot Lips, Pizzacatto, etc have all failed me. I'm just looking for some classic pizza with decent sauce and ingredients. All of the above have had various flaws that have left me wanting. I have actually driven to Boise of all places to go to the original Flying Pie just for some decent pizza. Maybe the community can point me in a direction.
Also up in NW is a tiny place called Tribute's. They have stuff besides pizza as well, Calzone, sandwiches, etc. I used to go there all the time after ComedySportz shows.
Apizza Scholls is excellent, but they don't do reservations, and the wait has been at least 45 minutes every time I have gone there. The trick is to get on the list, and then go wait at the Bar of the Gods next door.
