At least once a month my daughter asks me and the wife if we are ready for that trip to Oregon, and to not waste time packing!

Winter sports like skiing and snowboarding are world class. Water sports are fantastic along the Columbia and Willamette River and Lakes. Summer is moderately warm and can be beautiful with the doors off the Jeep.
I love to camp and take a group out for a weekend and Oregon offers more primitive camping than you can shake a stick at.
Its also cheap to live, eat, and work in.
The above posts about Tillamook Forest are correct.
Browns Camp is 35 minutes from my house and I go there often to wheel.

Oh, and by the way, Oregon does not have the most breweries per capita, Vermont does. Portland, Oregon has the most per capita for any city.
Even though I'm a Single Malt guy, I'm sure if they were to count home brewers Oregon (Portland) would take it.

Well I can easily sum the state of Oregon up in one word....AMAZING! I have been to many different states and the only place I would even consider living would be where I currently reside! OREGON! We have everything you could ever ask for.

AND... if beer isn't your thing, North Eastern Oregon has a vast number of Wineries, and vineyards to visit. Milton-Freewater, OR and Walla Walla, WA for example have a ton!

Oh and 30+ round removable clips on AR's are legal here. (california+guns=stupid)

And the coffee. Portland has pretty much surpassed Seattle as far as amazing coffee.

Outdoor life style is great here...

Most people that live here are very laid back...
We drive slower than Cali's
