Sad day in Astoria

What a sad day in Astoria, we lost two historic buildings on the water front to fire. Two of my favorite places to eat "the Lazy Spoon and the Cannery Cafe" were lost in the fire.

We still have a lot of fine places to fill your tummies though so come over and see us. We have been here longer than any city on the West Coast, lots of history.

So sorry to hear

That's awful news. We're planning a trip out to Astoria in January, as we always love to visit the fine brewpubs out there. Fort George is definitely a favorite. We had lunch at the Cannery back in June when we visited from Portland, and it's sad the place is no longer.
