Fishing boat deep-v (lund, Sylvan, alum, etc)

What deep v boat has anyone had the best luck with? We been looking at Lunds Sylvan Alumacraft.. What are the best boats for the money for bigger lake fishing such as Canada?

I like Lund, Harbercraft, and Princecraft.
My friends smokercraft has been a pile of garbage since new.
My Dads Lund has been beat on hard, but is still in good shape, its a great boat.

Are you going outboard, or inboard-outboard?
What length are you considering?
In my experience if going outboard I like Merc, Yami, and Honda, but i will never have another suzuki it was junk.

We do NOT need to raise taxes on the people. The government needs to spend less is the answer.

I owned a 21' Century MerCruiser Inboard/outboard that weighed around 5,000 lbs. as I remember...fished the "Chesapeake Bay" of Virginia and some of the Rivers....here's a photo....but, that was a long time ago (70'S)............
