Great place to take a hike but don't camp on top. At the base of the mountain there "was" a place called the Sesame Street Campground. It was my idea of the last place on earth I ever intended pitching a tent.
But.... GF's tranny blew at the top and the tow truck guy dropped us at Sesame Street. They had a lovely spacious primitive campsite area and we really enjoyed it.
Hiking down the waterfall step-trail was beautiful and someone lost his plastic vial of weed (to my delight).
Best places I know in PA are Blue Knob (almost abandoned State Park) and the Blue Rocks Campground near Lenhartsville off 22. The rustic sites are scattered over the lower slope of the Pinnacle which is a tougher hike than one might expect.
