I'm actually waiting until muzzle loader in december (not my choice, but still fun non the less) because of my college schedule. I havent pulled a bow back in years but I am heading up to the cabin in sullivan county this weekend to hang out and hopefully watch some family members drag some back to the house. We don't have off on any of the weekdays for the rifle season, other then the first saturday, so I (hopefully not) might be out of luck this year. I've got a button buck, an 8 point, a 4 point, and a 6 point all under my belt in 5 years of hunting. Ive been hunting since I was 12. I'm 18 now and haven't been out yet this season, but we're looking to make it 5/6!

Went out last night, saw a thundering big 10 point, but he came out of the woods about 100 yds away and kept going the other way.

...but I have been deer hunting during rifle season the last few years. I Would like to do more bird hunting, & maybe some turkey.

Elk County...

I'm leaving Harrisburg in a few hours and heading NW to Elk county to my parents for what looks to be a beautiful Sunday of bow hunting.

I hope to make it out at least one day for rifle season. I haven't been out in quite a few years.

I miss archery. I haven't had the time to dedicate to practicing in a few years. I liked it way better than rifle though.

I need to get back into it.
