Philly Cheese Steak!

I remember eating these all the time when I was in dry dock at the ship yards. Miss the original ones bad.

Pat's & Geno's. I can't go down there without getting one of each.

Helps to be a little drunk.

I used to drive trucks in 80's & 90's. Once in Philly I got the biggest sub (or grinder, hero or whatever) for $5. Twice $ & 1/2 size in Va.

Meh, you're not really missing anything.

Pat's and Genos are best consumed by river-crossing Jersey dwellers.

Best chopped cheesesteak is at Jim's Steaks on South St.

If you like sliced steak, Steve's Prince of Steaks in Northeast Philly is good.

If you're out in the western suburbs, hit up the Pepper Mill in West Chester.

Nice to know there are differences out there. I've lived her for roughly 8 years and haven't been to Pat's or Geno's either.

+1 for Geno's. Probably make a stop there twice a month.
