Soda or Pop?

I have family on both ends of the state, I was slightly confused when my western relatives asked me if I'd like some pop... for a second I thought they meant freeze-pops

So which is it where you're from; Soda or Pop?

It was pop in MN till I moved to Reading & found it was soda.

I have to say it is SODA. Pop reminds me too much of a grandfather.
