Who has the best Tomato Pie?

My favorites are Corropolese (sweet red sauce) in Norristown and The Conshohocken Bakery (savory, salty red sauce).

What do you all think?

I agree completely. I go to the Corropolese Bakery & Deli in Limerick and their tomato pie is the BEST. A nice sweet sauce is perfect on a tomato pie. We got a hogie tray from them for a party as well and the sandwiches did not disappoint.

Marchiano's although its in Manayunk but its close enough for me to grab a slice, and its delicious! Also Dolce Carini is always a good call.

Tony and Joe's in Conshohocken had the best tomato pies. I haven't found a place like them.

I think of Tony and Joe's for their red top pizza, which is awesome... can't say I've had their tomato pie.

If it's not Corropolese, it's not a real tomato pie.

Philadelphia is a great food city , but if you really want tomato pie you have to travel an hour to Trenton. De Lorenzo's on Hudson street is the original and best, but they also opened another DeLorenzo's in the suburbs, route 33 in robbinsville, wich is nearly as good and open at normal times as opposed to ther hudson street... a row house converted to restaurant in the '40s with no bathroom and a line out the door waiting for a table.
DeLorenzo has a brother who does good pies on greenwood ave,Trenton- but IMHO with the exception of pizza in Italy, the best Pizza I've had is DeLorenzo's on Hudson street trenton and robbinsville, NJ a close second with better amenities.

if you really can't leave philadelphia, Tachienelli's (sp?) is not bad

I too enjoy Tacanelli's, but my local favorite ( NE Philly ) is Tony's on Frankford Ave between Levick and Robbins Avenues.
