I felt like Taccanelli's Pizza was a bit overrated, however I have not tried their tomato pie yet.

Got say Vince's Pizza on Grant Ave. I may be a bit biased though, it's my family business. Great pizza. Tony's Place is good too.

Conshohocken Bakery is my favorite for tomato pie. Tacconelli's has great pizza. Never had their tomato pie, though.

Tony's is decent....but Drougie's at Cottman and Frankford. Well now!

A large plain, well done, mixed with a Miller Lite and Monday night football...now that's a home remedy to cure all ailments.

Drougies also has those super thin french fries with crispy bacon and whiz...also good.

I have to agree that Corropolese is awesome. I also think Sam's Market in Willow Grove has an excellent tomato pie. I tend to like the sweet sauces best on a tomato pie.

Franco & Luigi has awesome Tomato Pie - they are at 13th and Tasker. I think they actually give you a Tomato Pie for like $3 if you order a large cheese pizza. They will also sell you pizza dough for like $1.50 so you can make your own at home.

Different Tomato Pie

Ok I Love Corpolese also and I think they sprinkle Crack on the top not Parm!

But try a different kind of Tomato Pie from Famous George's in King of Prussia! It is like A Sicilian Pizza but its tomato pie!! You have to order it 2 hours ahead of time Its big, cheese goes on after the bread, then a thick layer of sauce on the cheese...mmmmmm my mouth is watering.

But for typical Tomato Pie you can't beat Corpolese
