First off, I don't necessarily appreciate your personal comments. They're strictly forbidden here - and this is your one and only warning. But if you must know:

First off, what comments were personal- do you not live in Hawaii? Everything I said was not only G-rated but also not a personal attack of any kind, merely making an observation based off of public info.

I'm in the Marine Corps, currently stationed on Oahu, and move around quite a bit, of course. I lived in Arizona for about a year a while back.

I was stationed on Oahu for a little over 3 years (Army) but have always been a citizen of Arizona.

I wouldn't call myself a Hawaiian - there's plenty of things that I don't agree with here, but that's another thread.

Besides that point, this is an open forum and anyone from any state is welcome to post anywhere they like. Such is the beauty of CityProfile. If you have an issue with that, please PM me

You could have PM'ed me almost everything you posted above, instead of flexing your mod muscles (inappropriately, I might add) in front of everyone. If you are in fact a Marine, and if you are in a leadership position, you should know you praise in public and punish in private, no?

And, by the numbers, the majority of people in the United States are not drug users and have never even tried any sort of drug. On the opposite side of the debate, if California, an incredibly liberal state, can't pass a law allowing marijuana, then I find it hard to believe that any state in the US will have much success on the same argument.

If you don't consider Alcohol a drug, you might be correct.

Legalize it and tax the S--- out of it. Bring in money to the states that are on their way to being bankrupt.

I just finished writing a 10 page essay on Prop 203 last month.

And then it became legal so I got bonus points. Haha

That's not funny at all.

It's way past time to rethink our approach to management of drugs. I don't see 203 as particularly positive or negative. It's a very small partial answer to a very large problem.

I need a card as I would like to try it out but I think I would have more success just buying it off the streets

I can see the positive of it as i do back it, and the negative arguments to me just aren't arguments. I see it as a healthy alternative to numerous narcotics that are perscribed every day. And if it's treated as a medicine, then there is no issues with it, mainly because what is going to happen if your gets get into your medicine? they will eat everything in the pantry and sleep.. wow thats what teenagers do anyway.. it's alot better than if the kid got some antidepressants, or your hard alcohol, or your perk's for your back pain.. I think it will be a good thing for the struggling economy here in az, and it will help alot of people.
I feel passing this has been a bad thing. Our children have enough vices they are having to deal with... this just adds another.
