A pittsburg from the past.....this you probably did not know!

Very interesting fact about Pittsburg from 1927 [NATURAL GAS HOLDER {TANK} EXPLOSION]
I just received in an e-mail..my job in Richmond, VA
also involved these "Natural Gas Holders".....they expand like the cups
you used to carry.....when empty, the holders top was at ground level and
as you fill them they move up the steel superstructure...it's easy for me to
see how this happened.....acetylene torch on a full holder....you can also
visualize this, I'm sure......
