What I miss about Pittsburgh (and area)

Primanti bros
Yuengling beer
Iron City beer
Being able to watch every 'Burg sports event
Eat n Park
Being able to go boating at the drop of a dime

can't say I miss Iron City . . . I will pick up the occassionaly IC Light sixer here and there. Penn Brewery though ... drool city

Fortunately I'm in an area where with the sportspack on directv, FSN Pittsburgh is considered "local" for me so I can see every Pens and Pirate game that they air. And I get the Sunday Ticket for Steeler games.

I'm already starting to plan out our annual December trip home for the holidays. I plan on gaining at least 10 pounds

Got to love that Penn Brewery is back open!! Hope all of you that are gone get to come back and experience the new beers and food!!

The Hofbrauhaus might not be among the things you *miss* but is certainly worth the visit when you stop back. It's madhouse! The Beer is spot on to the Munich brew too.

no doubt. I was so disappointed when they closed. One of my christmas gifts from my parents has always been a case of St. Nikolaus Bock Bier. My all time favorite brew.

Right on... I went to a haloween party there, and the dark ale they were serving kicked my butt! Very high alcohol content... Could be dunkleweisen but higher ABV???
