Engineering in the Portland area

I will be graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering soon and I would like to move to the Portland area. Do you know of any companies in this area that would hire Chemical Engineers??

Not specifically, but pulp mills, particleboard and mdf plants certainly hire them.
(MDF being multi density fiberboard)

At our company the chemical engineers are pretty involved with environmental systems. Catalyctic reactors and such so I'd think any power plant might be a candidate for needing your skills.

How about any jobs for us longer-in-tooth mechanical engineer types?

PE, strong CM/PM and cost guesstimating experience, plus more. Horizontal and vertical construction. Govt, transit (couple consult jobs for TriMet and Sound Transit), health care, and more.
