Looking for a house boat

I'm looking for a house boat to rent. I want to live on the water. Not near it.

Craigslist was unsuccessful.

Deuce, I would take a trip to Felida moorage in Vancouver. Many of the residents are older, but it's not unusual for there to be a vacant home.

My aunt lives there and the only problem I've seen is parking for guests.

Check out Hayden Island, just before you reach the Interstate Bridge. There are several moorages there. See this link:

Take a trip up to Scapoose. There are a bunch on houseboats up there on the Multnomah Channel

Another good area is in the channel around the West side of Sauvie island. Lots of houses in the area with for rent signs on a regular basis.
