Things to see in Vermont
 

My wife and I will be in New England this spring and I am looking for a list of things to see and do. Can anyone give me a few ideas? Thanx in advance.

Visit Stowe, drive through Smugglers Notch, take a hike up Mount Mansfield or Madonna Mountain on the Long Trail which traverses the notch.

Burlington is a nice place for lunch. Take the ferry across Lake Champlain over to Plattsburgh. It's a nice ride on a windy day. Visit Ausable Chasm.

Drive up to Montreal for a day or two. It's not far and worth the visit.

But mostly enjoy the scenery. Take a drive around the Mad River valley. Take pictures of covered bridges, barns and belfrys.

Have a couple of pints. Circumnavigate Lake Champlain. Visit the historic places. It's a great state!

Have dinner at the Vermont Pub and Brewery. order a sampler for a taste of some real beer. You won't be disappointed :)

More good ideas. I know we will be visiting Rock Art Brewery as I love their Jasmine Ale.
