Smashburger

I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great burger. The very first location opened up at Colorado blvd & Mississippi in Denver. They have already expanded to twelve states. It's pretty close to my office and I eat there frequently. Give it a try :)

Malebolgia 09-23-2010 12:28 AM

*drools* There is one by my work, one by my house, and one by one of my best friends houses....... Damn it now I want one....

JakeDS 09-23-2010 08:04 AM

Extremely good, but, boy, what a gutbuster. Worth it, though.

There's a couple in Grand Junction if you're driving through on your way to Denver from Utah.

It's good, but totally not worth the money.

Meh... It's similar. They are both really greasy, the fat is what gives both burgers the flavor. But In and Out is like 1/2 the price.

IndianScout 09-29-2010 02:25 PM

mmmmmmmm In-n-Out 20x20 animal style and a shake, oh hell ya

Jake7 09-29-2010 02:55 PM

Dude, I can't even believe I just saw that.

That's a heart attack in a burger right there. I don't even know by which angle I would delve into that thing...

IndianScout 09-29-2010 02:58 PM

they have 100x100 also..

Jake7 09-29-2010 02:59 PM

There's no way anyone could eat that in one sitting...

Parky 10-01-2010 06:17 PM

In-n-Out will always be my favorite. Smash Burger is pretty good, but if you are in Boulder try Lark Burger... AWESOME.

Better. One by my work. It's a major achievement that I don't weigh 500lbs.

Needs another tomato:eek:

Jake7 10-19-2010 02:07 PM

I vote at least 21 more tomatoes.

kmansbrewing 11-15-2010 02:26 PM

How 'bout them pickles?

nickniel 11-18-2010 04:14 PM

They have a Smashburger in Lafayette, Colorado near my house. I like the place a bunch!

dgrabstein 11-21-2010 02:40 PM

smashburger is like the chipotle of burger restaurants. pretty good stuff

Haven't had a In/Out yet. Smash Burger is verrrry good.
Where is this Lark Burger located?

nebben 12-02-2010 01:30 PM

I thought it was a bit greasy.

Nope, not even close.

There is a place in Longmont called Five Guys Burgers? (17th and Main) that is closer to in and out, but still not the same. I do plan to go back there soon!

303_xj 12-15-2010 03:56 PM

So....... After you guys recommending it, I found a Five Guys Burgers in Highlands Ranch and I tried it out.

It wasn't bad, but Smashburger has it WAY beat. Also, the fries at Five Guys were absolutely terrible.

I'll give Larkburger a try next time I'm in Boulder.

LeJerk 12-30-2010 01:38 PM

Tasty burger, but it was really, really greasy. There's one in Boulder in the 29th Street Mall.

I didn't understand which place you liked better... In n Out of Five Guys?

kkyak1 01-19-2011 09:05 PM

Haha my husband is going to have a heartattack when he sees this!

LeJerk 01-20-2011 10:32 AM

After looking at those pictures again I've been hungry for one since breakfast!

kilowhiskey 02-05-2011 01:27 PM

They just opened one in Tulsa OK and I'm looking forward to going.

fafafofi 02-15-2011 07:58 PM

I wasn't too impressed. I went to Fudruckers in Aurora because of their cheese sauce, but they closed. boooooo

COBRA5LADDICT 02-22-2011 12:55 PM

Been to the downtown location and the one is summit county. i give a 7 out of 10

ImJustAvg 08-14-2011 10:44 PM

I have tried the Smashburger; and Five Guys and find both to be way to greasy for my tastes. I guess I am spoiled by the Red Robin in Colorado Springs. Theirs aren't near as greasey.
