Thanks!
It's good to share your pics with friends, and then make new friends and get inspired. There's a lot of talent out there!

Nice pics fang_x. About time you showed your face in your thread :D
Where's that first one taken, Senneville or Ile Bizard?

Andre 12-16-2010 02:46 PM

I'm from Canada. Just moved to Verdun which is part of Montreal. Don't know anybody around here yet.
There are 5 Nature parcs that I haven't had the chance to see yet and a bird sanctuary which is super nice.

RiponredTJ 12-16-2010 04:12 PM

Have you been up to Riviere Rouge?

Senneville yeah. Had to dig up a few old photos from my usb stick.

haven't been around lately, I was helping my dad with a move. My brother and Dad moved to Hudson and I sort of tagged along, don't really hang around Beaconsfield too much anymore, except to see my grandmother.

I really dislike that huge metal monster they have destroyed the city with... although it does give a nice viewpoint.

Hudson is nice. I head out that way once in a while to visit friends, so don't be surprised if you happen to spot me there.
I need to get out there for the steak and kidney pie at the Willows one of these days.

How's the GoPro treating you?

Trendy shopping for the ladies

RiponredTJ 01-08-2011 08:05 AM

And then there's always the waterspouts

RiponredTJ 01-08-2011 08:15 AM

And the watersports

RiponredTJ 01-08-2011 02:46 PM

And a great well lit and safe public transit system

fang_x 02-22-2011 09:43 PM

this is a link to an ice bridge located near Montreal. Near the town of Hudson

It was a pretty cool experience driving across a frozen river to the bank on the other side

RiponredTJ 03-05-2011 06:07 PM

I can't believe it. 2.5 million people around Montreal and no one can post anything?

Stay away from the rusty car, sir!

It's an after the parade garbage sucker-upper.
Cleaned up the curb pretty well and got a lot of attention from the crowd.

It may be a cultural thing, but in Montreal parks the poop chute is frowned upon :)

The rapids don't look like much in pictures, but once you get close to them you know that's all of the Niagara Falls and the mighty Ottawa River mixed into the picture rushing by your feet. It is by far one of the nicest parks I've been to on the island.

Highly recommended!

We had some strong winds on Lac St. Louis yesterday. There were a few inexperiences goofs in kayaks and little sailboats who thought it would be fun and had to be pulled out of the water.

It's not too often we get waves like this.
