Brew your own beer or want to learn how?

Are there any beer homebrewers on this site? I just joined the local VA Beach brewing club, B.A.R.F. in order to learn more about brewing. Anyone interested in joining a brewing club or learning how to brew beer should come to a meeting. Everyone seems pretty nice and willing to teach people how to make great beers.

I think that a good handful around here came from Homebrewtalk.com as well :)

(I know I did!) I brewed for a while, but sadly I no longer drink. (Therefore no more brew)
It was quite a fun hobby!
Thanks for showing up here :)

Sounds good. Where can I find a schedule of meetings?

I think the website has a calendar... They have a facebook page too. The webpage is linked in my initial post. The facebook link is on the page too.

I'm a homebrewer! Joining a club is a great way to learn the ropes, and it definitely helps to have a support group for when you want to hang up your fermenters. I'd also suggest going to homebrewtalk.com, howtobrew.com, and beeradvocate.com

I brew, too. I'm not heavily into it, so I don't know of any clubs on the Peninsula.

I brew as well.

Homebrewusa store is a good place to go.

I second the plug for Homebrew USA. Neal and Elizabeth are wonderful people ful of information and eager to help newcomers to the hobby.

I am a member of BARF. There is a group on the peninsula named CASK.
CASK - Homebrewing in Virginia's Colonial Capital
I am not a member of CASK but I hear good things about them
