Off roading

Are there ANY legal off road sites in immediate KC area? Closest I know of are 2hrs + away.

nope, only private property. So best to join a local club and wheel with them.

What rig do you wheel ? What type of terrain do you like ? Theres a place off 210 hiway out around Orrick i think . would have to find out exactly where but its not far away . from what i know its only mud and some trails i believe.

Not built yet, skids, no rock rails (the reason I haven't wheeled it yet), 30x9.5 Bridgestone Dueler Revos, 2" BB.

I see well i'm in the process of building my new rig too. 95 XJ Sport. When its all done will be bosting 44 front 60 rear 4.88 to 5.13 gears winches front and rear and a host of other goodies. I plan to hit the Jeep Jamboree in Ouray Colorado this fall with it God willing and the paychecks allow.

@rednex4x4 = what size tires? Sounds great, lots of trimming there :)
Make sure to take and post/send pics through the build, I would love to see them and believe me you will love having them later.

35's to 38's. I may put bushwackers on it but if not then minimal cutting.

BLacher 02-01-2011 06:01 AM

I'm thinking at that big, you gotta trim and put bushwackers on, just wouldn't look right otherwise :0
j/k- at that size you are correct, either way could be just as good.
