When is it time to put the top back on?

OK. its nowthe end of October. 80 degree weather. I've been planning to put my top back on for 4 weeks now, but I just can't bring myself to do it with weather like this. I know it will most likely turn cold all at once and it will be a pain in the butt to get it on.

That's our Fall, eh?

I've been here years where we had first frost on October 5th, and other years where it was Thanksgiving. Don't fret, we always get a Fall.

The leaves are absolutely beautiful right now.

What kind of top are you talking about?

Most women in the area wear their tops year round in public. Men too. ;0)

(I hope that didn't offend anyone.) Seriously, what top?

If this is referring to a Jeep soft top, I would say when the high temps stop reaching the 70's bc its going to be a pita to get it back on in lower temps imo

I took my soft top off to have my jeep in an Xmas parade...put it back on in really cold weather..was not fun. It was sitting for a week in the cold weather without being used and today I I took it out and 2 minutes into the ride I heard CREAK CREAK and my soft top split on the top in a few places, I guess from the cold. It's over 5 years old so was getting to be time for a new one, now I'm forced to do it sooner than I had planned.

I don't have a soft top yet, only a hard top, so it makes the transition a little more difficult. Can't wait for the spring!
