I'm kinda wondering how sound predictions can be made before the foreclosure mess has even broken open, or without even touching on where inflation might take things (will housing even be affected?).

This article is quite beneficial in predicting the things as per the economy and inflation and if this is right than it may create problem with the homes and the values.

I'm closing on a home. Purchasing for 135k and just got appraised for 152k this week. It has some work to be done from sitting so long (neighbors said a yearish) but I'm optimistic.
