Attitude can make a woman that is otherwise not as attractive as you think upon first physical impression be alot more attractive once a conversation has been made. In the same sense attitude can make any woman look more attractive by how they dress and carry themselves.

At 18 your hormones answer the question. In time a person develops more meaningful criteria if only subconciously.

I need an open intelligent partner with a well considered value system and a willingness to act toward a better society. The rest is frosting when compared to matching two people on core values.

I agree....everyone has a different opinion of what is attractive...but what was once a 'so-so' looking guy, can become the 'best-looking and sexiest guy' after knowing him longer, if his personality is good. OTOH, a 'good-looking, sexy guy' can look like a 'dog' after you know him better.

I'm on a dating site, and whether I continue to get to know him depends more on the emails, than the pictures.

Neither though both are important. I react first to brains. If you're going to spend a great deal of time with someone they had better be interesting.

I should add that for most of my life smart & crazy attracted me most. I got to meet a lot of bizarre people who I really enjoyed the company of. Not too good an idea to marry them though.........
