Yeah didn't some guy re-calculate it this year and say it's really in May 2011 after all? I've read a bunch of stuff jumping the dates around...

I think it was some uncivilized, primitive society's way of trying to understand a world they knew close to nothing about. I can't believe that people today are even paying attention to it.
