The practical side of me thinks it's retarded, but there's so many coincidences surrounding the 2012 thing that it does kind of sit in the back of my mind.

I don't seriously think anything will come of it, but it crosses my mind as a possibility from time to time.

Right, but if several ancient cultures who had zero contact with each other all predicted you'd win that amount on the same specific date you'd probably think it's a bit more likely.

The Egyptians, Mayans, Aztecs all had similar structures (Pyramidial) therein confirming some contact with some Person/Persons of Extraterestrial origin.
Atlantis or Lemuria as well had Pyramidial constructs.
What about the Pictures of Creatures great and small (spiders, horses, etc>.) that are ONLY observed in their entirety from great Altitudes?? HOW were they then created?? There was no g.p.s. when these works were designed and implemented.
No chance to perceive such pictures on the ground, therein substantiating Alien visitation and direction as FACT, not myth or conjecture.

Unfortunately, it's absolutely impossible to prove beyond a shadow of doubt that they had "extraterrestrial contact." However compelling the arguments may be, there's no hard evidence, and, obviously, no witnesses to confirm nor deny.

I think you've got some strong arguments, but, unfortunately, every theory as to how they built what they did, had similiar designs, etc, is just that, a theory, and weve got no way to 100% prove anything.
