rib cook off for sure. its been 3 or 4 years but i had a blast. lol i wasn't even 21 at the time. gotta go back, i think it would be a whole new experience!

Canfest is fairly new to the event scene in Reno and it is can-tastic! Also, if I remember to book a room at the Nugget, the Brew Haha is a must.

Rib cook off kickes ass, lots of good food, conserts, beer, and friends. What else is requides for a good time!!!!!!

If you wanna travel up to Quincy, the High Sierra Music Festival is another good time

Got to be the Rib cook-off as I seem to go multiple times each year, where stuff like street vibrations and hot august nights I'll usually only attend once.
And for those who said Candy Dance in Genoa, Carson Valley Days is much better (but neither are Reno events)

I just love the fact that there is so much available in an area like this. I have lived in a lot of different areas, and I don't know if we realize how great we have it here in Reno. The mountains, the city, LAKE TAHOE, festivals, concerts, shows, etc. What a slice of heaven!
