Rochester, N.Y. - Voters elected a new mayor Tuesday.
Former Deputy Mayor Tom Richards received nearly 49 percent of the vote, former Rochester Mayor Bill Johnson received 42 percent, and Alex White received 8 percent.
More than 24,000 of the 95,000 registered voters cast their ballots.
