Alamo

Does anyone know how much of the present building is truely the Alamo where the battle was fought? I found it is surprisingly little but am not sure that I was told correctly.

There really isnt much left of the alamo compound. I believe all that is left is the church

this model might give you a better idea of what is left. if you were to walk across the plaza to the buildings facing the Alamo's chapel you can see the remainder of the compound wall in the sidewalk.
