Yep, born and raised, left while in the Marine Corps, got back as soon as possible.

One of the best places to live.

San Antonio! Woohooo!! I love it. I've travelled a bit, and plan to travel more, BUT there's really no place like home.

I went to high school and some college in SA. Dad still lives there. Great town, miss it!
When I was there, the drive from the Bandera/410 intersection out to Helotes was one large field after another. I hear it's all built up!

It's built up past that as well now. A year or two ago they built in interchange for getting on/off bandera to 410E. It bypasses the wurzbach/bandera light which was getting really bad. When my parents moved here in the 80s there was nothing. City has grown all the way from 410 out passed 1604. 1604/Culebra is now a huge shopping center you want to avoid with your life, especially around traffic hours.

BTW, born and raised here. It can get boring, but it's home sweet home.

Came in 75, moved in 81, but come back every year. Have son in SA and son in Seguin, daughter in Centerville and one in College Station. But SA is still home though don't currently have a "house" there.

Just moved here from Dallas. Still learning my way around. I'm looking forward to getting to know the city a bit better, but liking it so far.
