Pinyon has the squeeze and heartattack hill.

Coral has upper and lower bronco.

These are my fav trails out there. Lots of fun.

Corral Canyon

Corral Canyon is great for ATVs and Jeeps. It is pretty close too, about 20 minutes past Viejas Casino, and you can camp there with a pass you buy from the ranger's station.

I think it is only $25 for a year (I don't have one yet this year).

Otherwise Ocotillo out by Borrego Springs is a hoot. Ask where the mud hills are.

Tierra Del Sol's Desert Safari is coming up pretty soon....beginning of March I think. Definitely go to that - not only is it fun, but you will meet plenty of people and can learn about all of the trails around, etc. Tierra Del Sol - Four Wheel Drive Club of San Diego

bronco peak and that area is cool for the hard core. don't try it with a stocker though. pinion mt is fun, a jeep or smaller will fit through the squeeze but no full sizes. coyote canyon just north of borrego springs is cool. moderate trail but scenic witha cool water crossing. only open full length 10/1-6/31 though. big horn sheep area in the summer.

couple hours up to big bear, lots of trails there too. get involved with a club. there are several so find one you like. get a guide book from Charles A. Wells, Peter Massey or Roger Mitchel. they all have ones for socal areas.

Here is what the squeeze looks like. this year i'll be bringing my cherokee so i can fit through.
