Points of interest in San Diego

This thread is for points of interest in San Diego area. The zoo is pretty cool I just went there about a month ago. Help me out with more that are in the area.

We are going to Dana Point next week.
We will probably go to the Wild Animal Park.
I got free tickets to both the Zoo and the Wild Animal Park when I bought my new tires.
We are going to stay at my moms time share that is near the D/P Marina.

I like Dana Point, I go fishing out of there all the time. Those timeshares are also nice since most are right across the street from the water.

I agree with Hotel Del Coronado. Also I enjoyed Sunset Cliffs out on Point Loma area. Mission Beach and Fiesta Island over by Sea World is a nice place. Another place to check out is the Gas Lamp Quarter downtown.

La Jolla shores - swim, scuba, kayak, go see the seals. Lots of fun cheap stuff to do down there.

With winter around the corner the wife and I like to sneak away to Julian for the day. Hot apple pie and hot chocolate are best in the snow.

If you like historical stuff, the missions are actually pretty cool.

Ya Julian is beautiful especially in the winter, but definitely fun year round. The Midway Aircraft carrier/Museum is pretty cool, definitely a point of interest. As well as seaport village
