Best chicken fried Steak

So far... Montana Mikes has to be the best chicken fried steaks, i've tried.. locally, it's huge and their french fries are seasoned just right. Very very good...

Its exactly where Sirloin Stockade used to be.... right next to the Pizza Hut..does that help? i don't remember street names

I haven't been to Montana Mikes yet Bob, in fact, I don't think I've even been to that site since the eighties. Thanks for the recommendation though, I'll have to roll the dice and try it out. I do like the ole' Chicken Fried Steak every once in a while. The Gristmill in Gruene has got some rightous CFS, but the cost is kinda high.

Wow, you should chekc it out.. i think that's prolly their only signature thing they have...besides there americana pasta.

Everytime i visit a new restraunt and don't know wut to order, I take the chicken fried steak, can't go wrong w/ that.

I've always loved the chicken friend steak from luby's
and along with the macarroni, just awesome. Yeah it may be a little pricey but its good.
