Man you are so right.
That paper makes me laugh. How can you call it the Daily Record when it only comes out like 5 times a week. HA HA HA HA HA
And the grammar.....lol.... I suck at grammar and spelling and even I can find mistakes...
That paper is a joke. And the fact that they charge the same price as the Austin Statesman (which is a joke also) is outragous.
Well atleast we got Proper Gander. (Although you have to be under 'some' influence to understand it.)

You should try the Scene
You should try the San Marcos Scene, it provides local music updates, bar reviews and updates, and some other general entertainment news. Only bad thing about it is, it only comes out once a month, oh well, but in its also free, so no complaints. Hope it helps.
I've never seen the scene before.. where can you pick it up?

I know it has taken a while, but EUREKA! I've found it
Still new to San Marcos, so I wasn't sure where all this magazine could be found. I usually just pick it up in my apartments clubhouse thingy. Well, I've been around a bit more and I have seen the Scene in the local coffee shops, along with some others that I haven't really looked at yet, and by the front door at 1/2 priced books, also along with some others. Hope it helps.

Scene Distribition
Thanks for the comment on the Scene. The next issue will be out on the 22th of August. We have over 200+ locations across town. Any ideas where it should be distributed to please email us at thescene@insiteaustin.com
Also, any ideas on how to make it a better publication for San Marcos. We would love to hear from you.
Uhg, if we ever get a real writer in there it'll be the day all the people from California decide to grow taters in Arizona. Our well-established paper is, however, very useful. I will elaborate:
