its time for the beginning of bike pub crawls. :biggrin:
san marvelous is in desperate need of drunks on bicycles... well, ok not that, but just a better bike culture in general. come out and join us on this awesome summer night for swimming and booze.
there is no one putting this on, ride at your own risk, but come out and hang out with other dorks on bikes!
this crawl will take place on Wednesday to worship the end of our finals tests, if school isn't your thing, or the coming of the summer by the half moon of May 9th
this crawl is open to all 21+ bikers of any creed; bmx, road, mountain, chopper, carbon fiber, any beater without a motor.
There will be 6 stops (2 swimming stops), and we will try to ride together as a group as much as possible.
Heres the route:
stop1: 7:45-8:15 - meet at Rio Vista Falls for a quick swim in the rapids then go have a beer at River Pub, bring cash so we can all get a table, or we will be at the bar.
stop2: gils broiler, grab a crappy domestic, write stuff on the tables
stop3: taproom, make up for that crappy domestic, get one of 60 on tap (so they say...)
stop4: tantra, sober up with coffee, or get another good one.
stop5: finish out the night @ restless wind, best bar in san marcos.
stop6: swim @ sewell..... then on with our lives!!!
Copies of maps provided at 8pm @ rio vista.
Bring:
cash, swim apparel, texas ID, bike, lock, love for thy biker, any tools/pumps needed, helmet (recommended)
and of course, LIGHTS!
(texas law: 1 rear red reflector or light AND 1 forward WHITE light, visible 500 ft.)
