I need some musicians to play with yo. I have been in this Damn city for a year or so, and I haven't played with a single person yet. I play guitar and I would enjoy listening to some local flavor too.

And just about every bar that has a stage, also has an open mic night...Just call them and find out when and where.

yeah, and also there's tons of musicians that hang out and work at the TC, besides coming in to play and run the sound, so you shouldn't have any probs finding someone to jam with

Been working my toes off recently, that and i got a big move comming up. So I haven't had the time to hunt. But I will post when I get in tuned with another player. Thanks for your intrest.

Jaed, what sort of music are you wanting to play, or what is the closest influinces that would describe your musical vision? Just wondering - I write and used to perform in Austin billing as an acoustic duo called "Public Like A Frog." We played all opening acts for folks musicians like Jimmy Dale Gilmore, Denice Franke, Michael Frecaso, Hammell On Trial, and some others that don't sound familiar either most likely. Just curious what your playing, or wanting to play.

naughty naughty, of course I am familiar with Hammel on trial.... I likes the folk. But I must admit I am a newbie at it all. I listen to some Dan Bern and lots and lots of Ani Difranco. I would like to have similar musical and lyrical quality with much less of the political quantity that defines most folk music. For that reason I would most likly name my stuff acoustic folk rock. I'd much rather write introspective or at least self searching songs. But those get old quick.... so yeah mostly i just wanted to play with other musicians I figured it is unlikly to find some one who will play what I play, I just wanted to harmonise really.
