your evidence

simply email Sanders_Kimberly@ci.san-marcos.tx.us and ask her for the results of the last three years of food inspections results. I only have the 2003 and 2005 inspections: Average demerits in 2003, 16.87. Italian Gardens 2003, 49, on 4/22/03. Re-inspect: 19, on 5/6/03. Complaint filed 7/11/03. In 2005: on 5/31/2005 Italian Gardens received 44 demerits. On re-inspect: 6/13/05 (finally) they scored an 11. Only 2 restaurants scored worse than Italian Gardens, Taqueria Mazatlan, 54, and Taste of China, 50. One restaurant tied(!) with Italian Gardens, guess which one? I'll give you a hint: when your restaurant is crap, how do you fix it? That's right, change the name! Kismet scored a 44 as well. Thank god for The Cedars.

I did. I was told that there are 2400 reports over the last three years, that I will need to pay 10 cents per page and that this will require a lot of work and a considerable amount of time on their part. I did not get the impression that this is something that they regularly get requests for.

If you already have the reports, why can't you be a little more helpful and post them where the rest of us can see them?

Italian Garden is great for a quick, quiet lunch that is affordable. Get the Chicken Parmigiana.

quick lunch at italian garden

I'm a big fan of the Eggplant Rollitini. It is all cheese and eggplant so I usually take a side of sausage or meatball. Wife felt bad after she ate there and won't go back. This place reminds me of an eatery near my school in Fort Worth. Pizzas were good there, too.

Sonds like San Marcos is going down hill

I lived in San Marcos during my Undergraduate. It has been 4 years since I left there and the only strong memory I have is of Italian Garden. I worked there for all 4 years I was in San Marcos, and you will never meet two harder working people than the owners. The food is the best in San Marcos. The service might not be great, but it sounds like from you idiot stoners that there isn't much to choose from to hire good people. I can't believe that you want a picture menu, are you that stupid? Just ask the server. Let me guess you think Olive Garden is better than authentic Italian food? SAD!
