It's been a while
These pictures were snapped under the IH35 bridge on the Blanco River just north of River Ridge Parkway. This spot had been dry for well over a year.
Might be time to break out the kayak this weekend.

Up here (Denton Tx) we are also getting some beneficial rains!!
The drought is not over, but at least the area lakes are now getting the run offs!!

Unfortunately, the heavy rain missed the hill country around here so the major lakes are still extremely low.

It just over flowed our system and made a mess of the roads.
We needed it, but I don't know how much it helped.
I guess the sum of something is better than the sum of nothing?
