Looking for an apartment in San Marcos, TX

Hey all, Im curious if anyone could point me in the direction of either a great apartment or townhome complex down there, in particular, with a great pool/hottub and a fitness center. Im looking on all the apartment sites and im not finding jack squat. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Although I hate to admit I read it ('cause it sucks) but the local San Marcos paper called the Scene has a big list of all the big apts in town. DOn't live in an apt. get some roomates and get a house.
I saw you like film...do you ever watch Zatoichi? Just curious

PS the SCENE is not local, it's from Austin...Go figure....

Thanks A, I appreciate the advice...Im avoiding the whole "roommate" situation, I got burned by my last one and dont want a repeat of the horror that was "the roomie". I found the scene's website and from what I can tell, its sluggish(even on the schools T3 here) and im not finding jack squat...guess i'll hafta make a trip down there myself

Hey, I know what you mean about the roommate situation...
Currently my boyfriend and I are debating renting a house (with a 2 car garage). We each have two cars though, as we both love to work on them, so we kind of need to find a 3rd roommate who

a) has no car or wouldn't mind parking in the street
and
b) wouldn't mind living with a couple.

Just a shot in the dark, but do you fit those criterion?

He's 23 and I'm 22. We both will have jobs while going to school (we're both at the junior level, since we're working it's taking awhile)....

Feel free to email me at tangerine240@yahoo.com since I don't check these boards too regularly.
