looking for auto body shop

'Any body know of a good auto body guy somewhere in the San Marcos area? We have a tailgate that needs painting, like to give the job to a small independent if possible - recommendations?? Thanks!

I've heard good things about L&S off the interstate.

Thanks!

I really appreciate all the suggestions. It's hard to know where to start when you are fairly new to an area.

Also, if it is just a truck tailgate, you could probably save a good amount of money by taking all of the external stuff off yourself (badges, emblems, latches, etc)

yup - we're on the same wave length. After getting estimates my "in-house mechanic" decided to go with B and B. We already had the tailgate, etc, just needed the paint and assembly. I'll report on how it turns out.
Thanks to everyone for responses. I'm new to the forum and this was sort of a test run. 'Great to have local connections this way!
