Looking to Move to SM

Hello to all of you that might be reading this My name is Charlie Johnson and I have been asked by my company to find a place to relocate from Atlanta and I am strongly looking at SM I am married with 4 kids ages from 13 to 5 yrs old and I am needing to know more about the school systems cost of living crime in the area like were is the better side of town we have done some research on Crockett elm and the local middle school but would like your views about both if you know and we are looking in to renting not sure if we want to stay in apt's that is what we are doing now or if we will be better cost wise with a home rental if anyone has any advice please let me know .
