28 Days
Yeah, 28 days That's the amount of time they conceptualized, shot, edited, and marketed it in - just in time to make the summer releases list.
The first scene goes for "fast & furious" plot establishment by showing a scant offering of how the virus, "MAD", ends up infecting the whole of England. I thought it was kinda funny that they called it MAD, and reminded me of their most popular orange flavored drink over there called, "Orange Drink." Can't beat simplicity eh.
Anyway, it gets a bit better and the primary actor is akwardly interesting. His co-companions are less interesting until they are forced to relieve their sanity and do some serious zombie killing.
One relieving factor is that this movie DOES'NT rely heavily on any fancy computer graphics and so you are allowed to see it ride thinly on the premise it introduced earlier. It ain't a bad movie, but I'd wait for the two dollar show and maybe even a renter.
