Oriental Food?

Hey does anyone know where to get some good Chinese food? I've tried Hong Kong and didn't find that to my liking...was just wondering if you'd have any suggestions for me. Thanks!

Maybe try out imperial garden , it's across the street where the big HEB is. They don't offer buffet, but offer big portions and is reasonably priced for takeout as well.


We also have, August Moon, another buffet place that is right next to office depot, or across the street from applebees.

taste of china isn't bad, but the best oriental food is at thai thai, especially if you like it HOT :twisted:

I like the Rose Garden on LBJ right across from campus. They also aren't buffet but their food is really yummy!

I personally tried & don't like any of the places in S.M. the next closest & best is in Universal City about 20 minutes away. China Moon.

August Moon is no more.

It is now Kolbe Steakhouse and it is great. They've got the cooks right at the table that do all the flipy tricks while they cook.

Great food, OK prices.

Kobe Steakhouse, Imperial Garden, and Rose Garden are by far the best places. There really are no good buffets in town. I highly recommend Kobe Steakhouse though.

Imperial Garden is the best, and Rose Garden. Imperial Garden has a small buffet all day on sundays.
