I concur,

I decided to brew a KBS inspired RIS last yesterday. The brewnight ended at 1am and the stout was as dark as the night.

Tasted great...
OG 1.090...
5 oz bittersweet belgian chocolate for 10...

Every club is different with a unique direction. KCBiermeisters is geared towards brewing for competitions (regional/national) and tastings. Every month will have a focus style however you are not...

Kansas City Barbecue - What's your favorite?

I lean towards Gates extra spicy for sauce, Oklahoma Joe's for Ribs, Jack Stack for Burnt Ends, Beans and Creamy corn, and Arthur Bryant's for sandwich meat.
