I like cars so NM has some nice ones if your passing thru Santa rosa check out the little auto museum it's worth a peek if your a classic car guy. And they're for sale.

It's not that bad just nothing local.
It's an easy drive to great hunting and mountain biking. Hit up the local zoo it's cool, you'll be surprised for such a small town.

Ft. Polk not alot in the surrounding towns but is a short drive to cool stuff.
Plus the base has some good fishing.
