I work in the oilfield and alot of our contract...
I work in the oilfield and alot of our contract hands are from down south.They say it's getting pretty bad. Actually some of them say it's been bad, just no one has been talking about it until recent.

If you are driving across on I-20 stop in Midland. Halfway between El Paso and Dallas. Try Brooks, Johnny's, or Brown's, they are all great. And you can't beat the mexican food from the food trucks...
