I would agree with another poster that Eureka Springs in the fall/winter is a good place to vacation. Cheaper hotel rates in the off season as well as a number of good restaurants is the main reason...

Motorcycling at it's finest

Come to arkansas for it's wonderful twisty and windy roads perfect for motorcycling. Branson in Missouri is not too far away from Northwest arkansas if you're just planning to pass through too.

Go early in the season

I should add you should go early in the Corn Maze "openin season". We went close to the end of the season and the corn in the corn maze was pretty thinned out and withered/wilted.
