What are some hidden gems in coastal S.C.?

Meaning, if you had friends who were visiting the area, where would you recommend they go to have a wonderful experience outside of the regular touristy...

Also, the last few times we ate at Uno Mas in Mt P, it was not very good.
Hucks on IOP is a hidden gem for seafood and a nice beachhousey atmosphere.

IOP is nice, up towards Wild Dunes can be nice and secluded. Sullivan's Island is OK but parking can be a pain. Folly Beach is run down and cool, laid back. Kiawah and Seabrook are private and...
