Snow Coats
Wife and I plan to take some trips to Northern States/Canada. Neither of us have been in extreme cold like below zero. Looking for some suggestions on good quality snow oriented coats.

Moving to Northern California
I am looking for suggestions on good cities to live in Northern California. Both wife and I are writers.
Good schools, safe, close to recreation like lake, Ocean, hiking trails, etc.
