I remember seeing them years ago in the mountains near VA that were RELEASED! by some hunters but they died very quickly. There are a few here and there but they aren't as plentiful as other states....

There's some beautiful ones, that's for sure. The falls at Stone Mountain State Park are not to be missed. Linville Falls are very nice, as well.
